Dixon Named Treasurer of the Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus
Franklin, KY (December 13, 2024) – The Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (KACVB) is pleased to announce that Abby Dixon, Executive Director of the Henderson Tourist Commission, has been elected to her second term as treasurer. With extensive experience and a passion for the tourism industry, Dixon is poised to bring fresh ideas and dedicated leadership to this role.
“I’m thrilled to serve as Treasurer for KACVB,” Dixon said. “Tourism plays a vital role in supporting Kentucky’s economy and communities. I look forward to working with my colleagues across the state to continue promoting Kentucky as a premier destination for visitors from near and far.”
Dixon brings eight years of experience to the KACVB executive leadership team and will focus on financial oversight of the organization. Her commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing the industry is well-aligned with KACVB’s mission.
