Visitor Appreciation Day

Mark your calendars for Visitor Appreciation Day on July 12, 2025 where we celebrate YOU! This July marks the Museum’s 87th birthday! As a thank you to the visitors that make this place so special, we are hosting our first Visitor Appreciation Day on July 12th! This day will include free admission to the museum, a guided hike by the Park Naturalist, presentation by the Museum Curator, behind the scenes look in the archive, folding and sealing regency letters with wax, animal encounters, “A Fresh Perspective” art exhibit, and more! Selected photographs from our photography competition will be on display in the Museum Lobby beginning on Visitor Appreciation Day.
