Spend a little bit of time on this National Public Lands Day, Saturday, Sept. 27th at 2 P.M., getting to know the diversity of trees around John James Audubon State Park! Our naturalist will lead you on an accessible guided walk around the park’s wooded edges to help you identify the many tree species found in the area. Using a few simple methods, you’ll soon be on your way to becoming a tree ID expert! Free to participate. Meets on the boulevard, behind the CCC statue. Ample parking is available in the lot on the boulevard. Our naturalist will meet you there. This event is weather dependent. Please watch social media for walk announcements.
