Ohio Valley Birding Festival

The annual Ohio Valley Birding Festival kicks off today with two expert-led birding hikes! Experience birdwatching from the field as you follow along on one of two hike offerings. Choose an early morning expedition at beautiful Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge near Oakland City, IN or an early evening walk through Evansville, Indiana’s, Howell Wetlands. Discover the many bird species that live or pass through these diverse habitats.
