Join Peaceful Worldschoolers and homeschool families for a day of art, nature, and exploration at the beautiful John James Audubon State Park! Dive into the life and legacy of legendary naturalist and artist John James Audubon at the museum, then enjoy a peaceful walk through the forested trails surrounding the park.

 What’s Included:

A self-paced or guided visit through the Audubon Museum, showcasing original bird illustrations, historical artifacts, and more

A free nature trail walk, where we’ll explore native Kentucky habitats and observe local wildlife

Time to connect, ask questions, and enjoy meaningful outdoor learning with like-minded families

This trip is perfect for creative learners, nature lovers, and those who enjoy a calm, enriching day outdoors.

 Who’s Invited?
All homeschoolers, worldschoolers, unschoolers, and Peaceful Worldschoolers — toddlers to teens, plus parents and caregivers.

 What to Bring:
Comfortable shoes for hiking, weather-appropriate clothing, water bottles, and sketchbooks or journals (optional). You’re welcome to bring lunch for a picnic afterward!
