Stop by the John James Audubon Museum to view a FREE exhibit about Audubon’s early drawings that he did while living in Kentucky. This display features 29 reproduced images of original drawings by Audubon that are housed in the Harvard University Houghton Library collection. These drawings show Audubon’s skill level while living in Kentucky and date between 1808 and 1815. This exhibit includes woodpeckers, shorebirds, orioles, and even a couple of species that are now extinct! This exhibit is on display in the Museum foyer, which is the first room you walk into when entering the Museum. It will be up until June.
