As a way of saying thank you to all our park guests, we’re hosting our second Visitor Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 25, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M.! The Park Naturalist will lead guests on a guided hike through our nature preserve at 11 A.M. In honor of the country’s 250th year, the Museum Curator will be giving an informative presentation about John James Audubon’s insights and reflections on America at 12 P.M. There will be a live bird show at 1 P. M. that will cost $5/person. Kids can bounce in an inflatable slide and bounce house outside! Enjoy free admission to the Museum all day, participate in up-close animal encounters in the nature center, experiment with regency letters and wax seal making, try to draw birds like Audubon, participate in outdoor games, tour an exhibit of photographs taken by park visitors, and lots MORE!
