SUMMARY:Sweetheart Hike
DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking for something unique to do this Valentine’s Day\, plan to attend the Sweetheart Hike on Saturday\, Feb. 14th\, at 1 PM.  It’s not a couples-only event–bring family\, friends\, or whoever you’d like along to this free\, guided hike. Along the hike route\, our naturalist will be sharing some of nature’s “love stories.” How does a porcupine choose a mate? What would a Burrowing Owl do to woo his lady friend? Find out these and other unique mating rituals\, told in a family-friendly manner\, of course. Perhaps you’ll find a new way to say\, “Be Mine.” Be prepared for this 1-mile\, hilly hike by dressing in layers and wearing sturdy shoes. Meets on the Museum front lawn. Watch Facebook and Instagram for announcements. \nContact: Lisa Hoffman at (502)-782-9727 or email to lisa.hoffman@ky.gov.
