DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the annual Ohio Valley Birding Festival\, which will be April 24-26th! An entire weekend of activities around the tri-state for anyone with an interest in birds. \nParticipate on expert-led birding hikes throughout the area\, observe birds in-hand during the bird banding workshop\, see live raptors from Audubon Park’s animal ambassador program or see other live birds at Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve\, attend presentations at Audubon Museum from Sycamore Land Trust and the International Crane Foundation. Stop by educational booths to make an upcycled birdfeeder with Wild Birds Unlimited\, create your own bird caller\, or even dissect an owl pellet. Discover the life of John James Audubon by touring the Audubon Museum. The event is completely free thanks to the Evansville Audubon Society and other sponsors!
