
If you found yourself in a wilderness survival situation, would you know what to do? Have you ever tried to make a fire without matches, find your way in the forest, or build a temporary shelter? Register youth ages 10-16 for this hands-on survival workshop on Saturday, March 8, from Noon to 3 P.M. Hike-preparedness and basic survival skills will be discussed and practiced, as we learn to make use of surrounding natural resources. Cost: $15, pre-registration is required; Registration deadline is March 5; Fee is non-refundable after March 5. Workshop will take place rain or shine or cold. Meets at the Audubon Museum.
