Community Day at John James Audubon State Park

Community Day at John James Audubon State Park

July 15 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Join us at the Audubon Museum on Saturday, July 15, 2023 for a free-admission Community Day! We want to say “Thank You” to our supporters in the community as we commemorate the 85th anniversary of the museum’s opening in July 1938.
At 2:00 PM in the museum theater, our curator, Heidi, will do a “show-and-tell” presentation on the museum’s history and share objects that are rarely seen outside the archives. There will also be time for audience questions and comments.
Admission to the museum will be free for everyone that Saturday, so maybe plan a fun day with your friends and family? Come out to the park, hike a few trails, pack a picnic lunch, do some birdwatching or fishing, cool off in the air-conditioned museum galleries and gift shop, and see some awesome old stuff during the curator’s talk in the afternoon. We hope to see you there!
Date: Saturday, July 15, 2023
Location: Audubon Museum at John James Audubon State Park
Time: 10 AM-5 PM (curator talk from 2-3:15 PM)
Cost: Free
