
If your child became separated from you and lost in the woods, do you think he/she would know what to do to survive until found? This Children’s Survival Skills Workshop may be just what your child needs! Children ages 6-9, will learn some basic skills to help them feel less frightened and more confident about being alone or lost. During this hands-on workshop on Saturday, March 15 from Noon-2:30 P.M., our park naturalist will share tips for preparing for an outdoor outing, taking shelter, and for helping alert Search & Rescue personnel.
Cost: $12; pre-registration required; Registration deadline is March 12; Fee is non-refundable after March 12.
Workshop will take place rain or shine or cold. Meets at the Audubon Museum.
