As You Like It Preview Performance

Henderson County Public Library is proud to host the Evansville Shakespeare Players for a preview performance from Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy, As You Like It, on Saturday, August 5th at 5:30 pm. As You Like It is a confection—a dream-like tale of faithful friends, warring families, and lovers in disguise. Forced into exile, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind, and niece Celia, find themselves in the Forest of Arden, a transformational, fantastical place, where all find a sense of community, acceptance, and maybe even love! Lighthearted and fun, As You Like It explores the difference between court and rural life, and ultimately what makes love rather than a fantasy. This performance is FREE!
