2nd Annual Backstage Pass with HPD

The City of Henderson Police Department would like to invite you to our FREE community event. Our Backstage Pass will allow the community to get a behind the scenes, hands on look at the operation and equipment our officers use daily.
Adults and children will be able to get into a police cruiser and operate their emergency equipment. Our Emergency Response Team members will let you try on equipment and check out some of their tools. Assist our detectives with a crime scene and learn how it is processed. Check out the HPD boat we use when our duties take us off dry land. At 11:30, K9 Kari will put on a show as he demonstrates his skills and capabilities for the crowd. Parents will be able to fingerprint their children and complete a Child Identification Card.
The Henderson Emergency Communications Center will also be at the event! They will be talking with kids about when to call 911 and how to provide information about the emergency. They will give parents tips and tools to teach their children what to do in an emergency. They will also be helping the community set up their phones to share critical health and medical information with 911 during an emergency.
